Pendant.

Ran down to the post office and noticed that some guys were digging up the ball field at the VFW and stopped for a few minutes. Got some clad and this crude quarter pendant that someone cut out of a quarter. Too bad it wasn't silver........:) HH.

Hey there, that quarter pendant looks pretty cool. I would take that over a regular quarter anytime and yes, too bad it wasn't a silver quarter. Talk to later and HH.

Yeah, I thought that pendant was kind of neat. I remember back in 1958 while in Jr. high we use to make pendants out of merc dimes. Drilled a starter hole and used fine jewelry saws to cut it all out. It was a lot of work, but they were pretty cool back then. Hope I didn't give away my age.........:) Gee, I wonder how many 1916D mercs we destroyed?..........:) HH.

Not sure how to comment on that find. It is certainly different. Had to have been from some H.S. kid with a lot of ingenuity and time on his hands. One neat find anyway.
