Period or Not?

Does anyone know if these 4 items are period or not? I put a shield nickel in the pictures for size comparison.
First item I believe is a rosette. It's stamped brass.

Second item is another rosette, it's plain with no markings on the front. It's also brass.

Third item is a very large ball button.

4th item I believe is a percussion cap tin, it's made of very thin brass, unfortunately the lid is slightly damaged.

Thanks for any help.

Don't know about the other stuff but the round ball button is called a Zouave button and it is period. It was used by troops on both sides of the war and they wore very unusual uniforms. Kind of like a monkey grinder looking outfit. Do a search under Zouave and you will see what I mean. I have found a couple here in SC at a good site from the late 1700's into the 1800's.
