Pete just called.........

They have no power. Storms went through last night. Pray they get it restored soon.

guess it was at least a county wide outage from around 1 AM to little after 10 AM. Got chilly in the house...outside temp was 44 and it was just under 60 in the house...brrr. Casey's school was called off for the day...she went back to sleep.

Our generator didn't work last night. Guess it is a 'smart' generator. If the oil level is too low it shuts itself off if running or won't start if not running. And, of course, I didn't have extra oil for it. Got it now.

As Mike was saying this morning a lot of people are expecting some real nasty weather within the next few hours to the next day or two. Pray God keeps them all safe.

Thanks Mike for the post.

a good sized storm will be here before long! :surrender:
Hope not much damage for all in it's path!

i will be praying for those in its path that they all remain safe...

Also pray for us here in cali and those in nevada. the news was saying that over 1000 earthquakes have hit between our 2 states within the last week.. some of them are not small hittin at around 4.2- 4.8. they are not expecting it stop soon. i will be checking the quake site soon to see whats going on.. the san andreas fault is on my mind. if a big one hits there....watch out...

a woman in Missouri was in her closet praying as a tornado came through. She survived...in fact, the news reported that all that remained was the foundation to her house and on the foundation was a family Bible (believe it was her Mother or Grand Mother's Bible) and it was opened to Psalm 75. And the news actually put the chapter in words on the screen so people could read it:

Psalm 75:1

I won't even have to get wet to run the generator. So now that it is all set...I'll probably never have to use it again

all that happens out there. Praying that you and others will stay safe!

I will pray for God's protection in the storms and the earthquakes! He is in control and does good to His own! Never heard about the MO woman being saved and her Bible laying on the foundation of her house......the only part that was left! Prayer is the answer in all trials, troubles and problems! God's heart moves for His Children! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus! We love and glorify your holy name! Amen!

God Bless!
Betty
