Photo resizing

I noticed the photos have to be 420kb now instead of 450kb. I got a recent e-mail about resizing and not having the proper software to resize photos. I suggested googling "free photo software"....and it came up with lots of free downloads to use. I just thought because I am always reading how to resize photos on here and also some don't have the software to do it with.....that this may help others to get free software on net.....here is one I don't use but looked good......just for resizing....http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm
I have software that came with my camera so thats all I use.....so I don't know what you get with the downloads but what can it hurt.....just trying to help.....

Here's another good one that I use regularly:

http://www.irfanview.com/

Simple to install and use, and free.

If you need a more powerful utility, you could use GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program):

http://www.gimp.org/

Not so easy to use, but much more powerful. It's also free .

I had the same problem. Go to "free resize software" I usually resize 25%.Remember the numbers or letters under it. They will be different than the original photo. Then go to start then to search. Click on pictures then all the pics in your computer will come up.Go to upload photo. Then browse will come up.Then go to recent photos. Then click on the photo you resized and you are there. If you still have problems email me.....Jack

You can use the "paint" program that is part of the windows.
Load the picture then select -image -stretch/skew and just choose the size.
