Hello all, I have a question that I hope someone can answer. I have a Garrett Infinium LS pulse induction unit, It is a brilliant machine
. I also use a Minelab SD2100 which also is great although a bit noisy. My question stems from a post on another forum, I was told that Pulse induction and Multi period sensing are different? If so how are they different, in laymans terms please. I use a 1 gram nugget in a medicine bottle for testing on the goldfield, the SD2100 could pick it easily with a coiltek 14DD coil, the Infinium would barely pick it as signal, with the suppied 14x10DD. Any help would be appreciated. I have since found out that the testing I have done is flawed. I am building a testing area in the side of a creek in really hot ironstone ground to get a difinitive answer. The Infinium is and has been the best unit I have ever used.
