PI build

Does any one know where I can buy a oscilloscope for a reasonable price? Thinking about building a PI kit and understand I need one for calibration. Don't want to spend more than the cost of the detector. Thanx.

See if you know anyone who works in a hospital and knows an equipment tech. I have a friend who is a tech and he is helping me with the hospital oscilloscope.

Will say buy used if possible.
PC scopes are not really good enough.
Old analog dual channel, dual trace is what you want. You want to each channel by itself or both channels at the same time.
Old analogs scopes can be cheap and or not working to orig specs. A good scope will be an investment. Buy once a good one.
Had an old analog, took hours to calibrate my PI, new digital scope, takes about 30 minutes tops.

I ended up with this one bought off ebay. It's fantastic.
