Hi Eric & Bill, do you know if there any similarity in the way these Magnetic Susceptibility Meters work to a PI Detector?

as they seem to use an air cored 3inch coil and run at around 10khz to measure the tiny amount of magnetisum left in granite, I was wondering if a pi could be re-timed to do the same or detect presence of buried rocks? Rob T.(uk)
