PI Machine

Justin E

Member
I know a guy looking for a good pi machine. I'm wondering if the sand shark would be good. I know he probably won't be going near water and lives in an area of East TN near the North Carolina and Virginia border.

Why a PI machine if he's not doing water. I would go with a garret ATP, it discrimanates well, water proof up to 10". With a pi on land or water be prepaired to dig everything. I mean everything.I do not use a ATP. But people i know that have one Love them. My 2 cents.

He likes the idea of pulse induction. He's a fan of Nikoli Tesla, who pioneered the technology, according to him.

For some stubborn reason he may not be a fan of Mr. Tesla, but after about 2 hours of using the PI and digging and digging and digging, he will realize Mr. Tesla wasn't that bad afterall.

Happy camper and rainy day are right. He dosn't need a PI machine at all.I use mine in the saltwater, thats why it's water proof. But i do dig aaa lot.I always liked the tesoro brand of detectors, Do your buddy a favor to look at a VLF machine and not some dead guy. He will save money by not getting the pi machine, then he will want a vlf that discriminates.
