PI reacts to black sand

Is there a PI or any machine that does not react at all to black sand and extreme mineralized sands. I have noticed that my Sea Hunter MarkII is reacting to these conditions. Any advise would and is always appreciated. THANK YOU

Hi Ron,
A homebrew DD coil on my GoldQuest SS V1 with SAT set midway runs absolutely quiet on sand that sends VLFs crazy. A mono coil on the GQ causes a contiuous wah..wah..wah signal as the coil is swept.
So you could try a DD on your Sea Hunter. Either make one, or have your circuit modified to accept an existing one. Alternatively you could buy a Nugget hunting PI with ground compensation such as a SD or GP series Minelab, or Garrett Infinium, but you'd probably still need to use a DD coil on them.
Cheers
Kev.
