This is just some information to pass along for those that drive pickup trucks. I'm 65 years old and last June I had surgery to repair my left shoulder (torn rotator cuff) and a ripped left bicep muscle. I am trying to be more observant on how I do things such as lifting of lowering objects. I am right handed and believe you me, I would Never want to have to go through this surgery on my right shoulder. I have been watching Uribe video's on tailgate assist assemblies which lower your tailgate slowly without having to catch the weight and ease the tailgate down manually each time. If you have ever considered one, try it. They are not that expensive and are easy to install yourself. I spent more time searching for my 10mm wrench, than I did on installation. I installed the DeeZee assembly on my 2007 Ford F150. They have different kits for different makes and models of trucks. I think I'm really going to like it. Oh, and there is no drilling required to your truck. JFYI
