Picked up a computer virus or spyware a couple of days ago.....

Computer still isn't quite right but I can at least use the internet now. Something called "AntiMalware" and it keeps popping up several times a minute like a real add asking for 49.95 to provide protection against these types of viruses. I call it extortion if you ask me. If I were King, I'd fill a very large hole with the bodies of computer hackers that unleash this kind of crap on people like us. I spent over 2 hrs. on the phone with some girl from India and I still have the aggravating pop-ups. Maybe it'll be over in a day or two. Until then, keep me away from any loaded weapons.

Try COUNTER SPY For Spyware;If I Remember Correct It Costs $19.95 And A.V.G. The FREEWARE Version For Virus---If They Don't Work Your In Trouble As You Propably Will Have To REFORMAT.

"this and that"... with no luck in getting rid of it. I would delete the program and it would come right back

Finally one day, it just disappeared from the screen


It had initially presented itself at a time when I had accessed an on-line high- tech golf game for my husband to use...I still think it had something to do with this site as I was clicking on options for the game.
