Bought it cheap non-working, something about the LCD. Case was pried open, guess they didn't know about the screws under the faceplate membrane.
Bet it had the on/off problem per anothers posting, they cut two strips on the ribbon cable when prying. Anyways bought it for the s-handle, middle rod and armrest.
Have to say Fisher could have designed a much better case like the Tek Greek series. Most of the housing inside it, is a waste of space. If in the modding mood, a new slim housing can be made where the F5 face plate can just bolt onto....
Will have to think about that a while...
Just finished a mold and made a control box for my land based PI, I am building. Not worried about warranties, my F5 was bought used.
Now I did try the 8" F2 coil on the F5, it works. Just not good enough. Gets about half the air test depth when comparing it to the stock F5 coil.
Will see if I can get it working, if not will part out the coil and PCB and use the housing as a template to build a slimmer one from, another project...LOL
