General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

What ever happened to trading were both traders check each other out and then ship the same day with a confirmation or tracking number? If you both have references proving your both honest members then there should be no need for one of you to send there's first and then the other later.
Personally, I'd never send my equipment out first to anyone, but that's me and the way I work when I trade anything. I passed a few trade deals in the past because of just that and I will again. Some think that's fair and I don't see it that way and never will. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I would never trade a detector, unless we both shipped at the same time. The reason I said what I said to Derby80, was a couple months ago, myself and another forum member sent him a hip mount clip for his detector that he was looking to buy. We both sent him a belt clip, independently, in good faith, before we received our money. The one I sent him, was brand new still in the pkg. I have done many buys/sells on the forum, and this is the first time I have ever been ripped off. I wrote a negitive feed back on the guy. Please go read it. I thought It would be nice to send him the clip, while I waited for his money to come to me. I'm sure you like getting accessories before a weekend hunt. I know I will never see my money from this guy, and So, I will continue to give my "two clads" about Derby80, and I'm sorry for the confusion. Happy Hunting
 
Hey Tony~ If I knew that I would have posted the same thing and I might have been a bit more colorful in my wording. In his case his non-paying for the hip mounts speaks volumes about him and I wasn't aware of this or what he did to you and another member in the past. I believe in honesty and I believe he not only needs to pay you but he needs to post a apology to you and anyone else he's forgotten about.
And truthfully now that I know this I guess he would have to ship me his detector first before I'd consider sending anything to him.
And for you Derby80 you actions speak for your honesty and your honesty has been soiled to me and many others here. You need to pay up and clean up your act before you post a trade because here we watch out for each other...we're a big family here.
And Tony I apologise for my confusion and thank you for understanding. And we both like to trade the same way and someday maybe we will !

Hi All I did a deal with derby80 last week. I bough a coil from him, and every thing went smooth, no trouble. Hope everything gets worked out for all, I don,t like to see anyone not trusted.
