Pics of yesterday's finds and some of a plant that grew as.....

Thanks Bryce for answering my post's questions! Glad you don't have a lot of water for there has been a lot of flooding in this area and in SouthEast MO. I know what you mean about your dad, for I was like that with Cliff and didn't leave him for very long....just to do my shopping and other chores I had to do!

Prayers for you and your dad! It is sad and difficult taking care of an ill loved one! Must have been hard on him, too, in his wife's passing, especially in his being so sick! I still miss my mom and dad and it has been 25 years since they both passed away in 1984!

Wow----Forest Park....HUH?? Haven't heard about the changing of the Fall Hunt to a different area! The one that the hunt was held at for years was always nice with lots of areas to bury coins and handy bathrooms and private! Wonder if the coins will be planted the night before? If so, they just might get dug up before Hunt Day!!!

God Bless and wishing you the best of health and may you and your dad enjoy each other while you both can!

 Betty

I can't tell you how happy it made me to see that you went out hunting! Hey, you haven't lost your touch, have you? It's a good thing to get out! Fresh air, exercise... I bet it felt great! Hope the Good Lord blesses you greatly with some fantastic finds!

Joe

Thank you, Joe, and it did feel good to get out and detect for a while.....I did get very tired though and could hardly make it back to my car! It has been raining since Sunday evening and is still raining tonight! So don't know when I will even try to get out :detecting: again, as it looks like the colder, wet weather has set in but, hopefully, we will have a few more nice, sunny and warmer days in MO! Took me a while to figure out how to use my detector, as it had been a long, long time since I had used it! Well, I don't think I have the Midas touch....just some ugly clad coins!

I think the Lord heard me complaining too much about the soil being dry and hard to dig in....So He has sent rain and plenty of it! :) Gotta be careful about complaining, as God hears!  God Bless! Betty

How great did it feel to hear all those beeps?? You did great Betty. Your one day total eclipsed my total finds for the past 3-4 years!! I'm glad you were able to get out and hope you get another chance before it gets too cold.

God bless,

Doug

Thank you, Doug, and I did feel great to hear those beeps, especially the quarters for they really sing out to let me know they are hidden there in the ground! Ball fields get packed down from all the playing that goes on, so makes it harder to dig, as I have osteo-arthritis and hurts my hands and arms to put pressure on them and I get sore easily!

I don't know about the weather, as it is colder and very wet, as it has mostly rained from Sunday night and every day since, also, it is still raining today but a slow rain!

I'm so glad that Brian loves our Lord like we do and bless his heart he will have lesser pain with God's loving help in Jesus' virtuous touch and holy name! Amen! God Bless! Betty

Glad you were able to get out, looks to have been a good outing.
You have more fortitude than I, because I never would have let that plant live.
Good for you.

HH
Jeff

Thank you, Jeff! It was such a large plant and I had no idea what it was or would look like after growing, blooming and coming to seed, sooooo I allowed it to stay and then God allowed the wind and rain to take it out by the roots for me! :) God Bless! Betty
