yesterday I hunted at a 120 yr old farm house and this place was loaded, all old coins and not a single clad coin was found, gotta love days like that!!!! I eneded up with 4 indians, 3 silver, V nickel, several wheats, flat button, neato old advertising ring that says Red Goose Shoes.

I have found a couple Red Goose tokens. I like the ring. Congrats on a great hunt!

I was told that back in the 50's when you bought a pair of red goose shoes that you got to get a chocolate egg out of a machine and that is where the rings and tokens came from. I do not know how true that is though. Nice finds all of them.

WTG G4! Wow! I am constantly amazed at how many 'Old Coins' you manage to find. Maybe there's more of them in your 'hood than mine? I try my best to hunt old sites and homesteads but don't find the stuff you do and we have the same machine & coil...! Go figure...

well I dig everything above iron, VERY few coins in iron infested sites give good soild signals, most are jumpy bouncy signals. I don't care what anyone says if you want the old deep coins, YOU MUST DIG BOUNCY IFFY SIGNALS!
