Here I am with one of my favorite finds. Fresh from the dirt is my US Civil War belt plate found in a soldiers winter camp hut where he left it in the early 1860's

I grew the beard due to my intense dislike of shaving :) I'm not working so there's no need to shave EVERY day :lol: but I do like it. It probably takes a couple of years off me :)

Rick, Maybe it's due to a past conversation (?), but I don't think there is that much difference in our age. I will be 48 in two months (September). I don't look "great" for ANY age, but thanks anyway! lol

That little dog is the love of my life! He is so smart! He never lets me down. Now all i have to do is teach him to find relics! LOL. his name is Duke.

I know all about how our pets become our world. I am a HUGE animal lover! I get fighting mad over people who abuse and/or abandon animals. Duke is a cutie. :) Thanks for the compliments! I don't see it that way myself, but thank you anyway! lol :)
