went on what we thought was going to be a civil war hunt and found a piece of eight research says 1707-1711...7 flat buttons two with gold gilt, what looks like a trigger,and a bunch of small round balls (pistol) Guess the site was older then we thought..lmao

Thats A1, I wonder which is more rare, a cut piece of 8 ( like your's cut to make change), or a whole one.
 
I'm not sure if it's rare???? I don't know to much about reales, except what i researched to id this one. To me half the fun of this hobby is learning the history...and a three hundred year old coin....I'll take it !!! :beers:

Thanks everyone...If anyone can ID the trigger looking piece, shout out....I'm going down the road of trigger guard, but cant nail it down....
