I've found a couple of these rocks with odd pink patches around Lake Michigan. All of them are lightweight, flat, and feel somewhat like pottery or sandstone worn smooth by the water. They are in no way translucent, and one side of each always has significantly more of the pink than the other. Each piece is only an inch or two in length. I've tried doing a reverse image search, but nothing that comes up seems to fit. Does anyone have any ideas?
