Pinpoint Area

When pinpointing, is the max signal center of the coil? Or center front of the coil....Stock coil and for 6".

I find it to be in the area of just under the shaft to just in front of the shaft. I check it that way plus by dragging the coil back and seeing where the signal drops off at the front of the coil. I just have the procoil.

Thanks, I will try and drag it back and see where the signal drops.

You just gotta make sure that when you check where the signal ends at the front or rear of the coil that you are out of "pinpoint". With "pinpoint on" it should be close to the center. Smaller coils are easier to pinpoint with, the factory 11 incher can be a little hard to get right on the money in my experience.

No, I keep it in pinpoint when I drag the coil back to see where the signal drops off.

I'm new to the Safari too, but I've found the ''wiggle'' method works best for me

I like the idea of the Dot....Makes sense!
