Pinpoint vs detecting

Most times I'm hunting, while sweeping over a coin and getting the normal TID of 32 to 42 , when I switch to pinpoint, it will read a different TID, sometimes down into the single digit numbers. Unless it happens to be a fairly shallow coin, this happens frequently, does this happen to you. I'm using the 705 with the 10.5" DD coil in ground reading 18 to 24 when I ground balance.

I never rely on the pin point id it is almost always different on my 70.

Mine does the same thing .. I usually ignore the pinpoint reading.
