Pinpointer for Teknetics T2 SE?

Took my new T2 the other day on it’s maiden voyage, got a hit—whipped out my trusty Vibra-Probe 580 and was immediately inundated with snap, crackle, squeak, etc etc. Tried frequency shift and nothing changed. Teknetics/Fisher’s pinpointer is a pulse unit and their advertising says frequency can be adjusted to eliminate interference. Is their unit the best/only option?

When I had a T2, I never had a problem with either the black or orange Garrett pin pointer and nor do I have any with my F 75, Omega's and A T Pro. Hope this helps. H Jim tn

Just get a set of headphones with a mode toggle switch. Every time you kneel down to pinpoint a target just switch the toggle switch then switch it back when you’re done, problem solved. No matter what detector or pinpointer you’re using. 👌

I got a Tekpoint pinpointer with my T2+. It's a great pinpointer but it drives the T2+ crazy. I've tried changing the frequency and no matter where I set it it still makes racket. I've been using my Garrett pinpointer when I use the T2 and it seems to be a lot more quiet.

I wouldn't worry about the noise just turn volume on headsets to 0 when using pin pointers then return to regular setting when done...problem solved.

I use the XP MI-4 with the T2se and I've have no issues with iterference. The Simplex is the only machine I have that has problems with it.
