Pinpointer Question

Does anyone have any experience with the Pocket UniProbe from DetecorPro? I am looking to get a better pinpointer. I currently have a Bullseye Pro which is constantly falsing whenever it contacts the soil. I kind of like the idea of a two piece setup. It seems like it would be more convenient. Anyone with any thoughts,or comments on this probe or any other one? How is its sensitivity? Is it prone to falsing, durability etc.? And the big question Is it worth $300?
Thanks and HH,

I have both UniProbe models, the original with attached headphones for winter, and the pocket UniProbe for hot summer use with my walkman type headphones. They never false, are much more sensitive than any other handheld probe, and are very durable, but not waterproof (the wand is waterproof, but not the electronics). I still pull out my waterpoof VibraProbe when it's raining or when I know I'll be digging in water and mud. But the UniProbes have really spoiled me with their convenience and superior depth. They will really shorten your recovery time. One 9V battery seems to last forever in them since you only have to switch it on for a couple of seconds to pinpoint your target. They are quite pricey, but you won't regret the expenditure. HB

It is relatively easy to adjust the gain on the White's Bullseye. Just open the case by unscrewing the 4 corner screws. You will find a blue adjustment potentiometer. Turning it clockwise increases the gain. Counterclockwise decreases it.
It looks like you Bullseye has too much gain.
