Pioneer 505

I was out checking my detector, and noticed that the unit does not show anything in either of its 2 displays when I am in no motion pin point mode. The target i.d. and depth displays operate properly in the motion mode, but not in no motion mode. I checked the video that came with the unit and, sure enough, the unit on the video does show depth and target i.d. in the no motion mode just like it does in the motion mode. The detector in the video is one of the older models with the older beep sequence on startup and the sad clown mask looking graphics. Mine is the newer version with the updated beep startup sequence and new control panel look, hard battery snaps, etc, but this should not effect whether the unit should have its displays showing information like the older unit while in pinpoint mode. I am going to try YouTube to see if one of the newer 505's is shown somewhere operating in no motion mode so I can have a look, but if anyone with one of the later models could shed some this on this matter I would appreciate it. Thank you.

My 505 did not show info in the No-Motion mode either...Do not think it was supposed to...

Thanks, I appreciate that information. The older version of this detector did for sure...its on the instruction video. Could only be as a result of a design change.
