Pix of where I detected this morning

The postcard is from the early 1900's ..it shows the street that I walked down this morning to the beach .(Milford, Ct.)

It leads right to the iron railing steps that you see in the first pic.

Except for the pavement over the dirt, and the absence of the trees ( too bad) , it looks much the same today as it did then.
There are condos on the right where those gracious homes once stood.

those are my finds today, in addition to the "EURO"
thanks for looking

I wonder if there really is treasure on the island or someone was just 'Kidd'ing

That sure look promising, imagine doing that dirt street !! Good thinking to use an old post card. Steve in so az

Yeah , Steve...too bad all the coins are buried under the tar pavement now...I'll have to invest in a jackhammer..forget the scoop!

looked like years and years ago! I would really like to have a shore to hunt and not have to dig so hard in the dirt! Only if the sand is soft to dig in! The bottom of the sand would be the best though as that is where the metal sinks to.....even after storms.....they disappear again!

God Bless!
Betty ............................ I tried to post earlier but something happened and my posting disappeared like those relics and coins!

WTG on the goodies! :)
