New member
Today i put in an order for a new 6x10 DD coil from Kellyco, and a lower fiber rod from Whites. Also a support brace for the coil.I have one on my other coil and they work great in the water, brush, and tall grass. Also ordered the stand to keep it up off the ground.I was going to make one but for less than $5.00 why would i want to do that:shrug: Thanks for all the info and advice.

Hey Hillbilly Bob.
I"m going out tomorrow with the kids.We are going to start looking for that old mine i had told you about. The weather has really changed this last week. It's been in the 60s and sunny so i figured we better get looking before all the leaves come on the trees. Can see a lot further through the trees and brush.I took yours and every one else's advice on the 6x10 DD coil. Thanks for all the info.

Also called Whites, they sent me a new window cover for the MXT FREE of CHARGE. AWESOME:thumbup: Thanks Whites.

Hey that's great, I am sure you will like the 6X10 DD. You and the little ones have a great time looking for that mine, watch them close if you find it, old mines can be dangerous.
If there is a gravel pile hunt it with your detector, I find allot of gold in mine tailing's

I will do that.
I just found out last week that the area that i am going to search was named the same as the draw next to it.They changed the name a little so they would not be the same.Sounds like i have double the area to look at.:rage:

At least we will get our exercise:twodetecting:

The way I look at it......More area, the more ground to hunt. Those paths produce a lot. Boy, I wish we had some warm temps like you do jog! HH and have a great time! Nancy

Nancy!
It's been getting warm in the afternoons but is still cold at night.Did see some daffodils trying to pop out of the ground, maybe that means an early spring.I will try and send some warmer weather your way.

Jog, We'll take all the warm weather you can spare. It has warmed up to 16 so far today with lots of snow still on the ground. Hopefully seeing the flowers pop up, we will have an early Spring. Here's a couple of pics of our snow and our little snow-bunny...
