Yeah my new detector is finally on the UPS truck making it's long journey across America lol, should have it by middle of next week.
I am so excited I feel like it is Christmas and I am ten years old again. I have been reading the ebook and manual and watching videos to make starting out easier. This will be by fa the best MD I have ever had.
Look put tot lots cause I am coming to rid you of all your treasures!

Bloody Hell. I have 40 units of the Xterra 705 sitting on the shelf at my store in Las Vegas ready for immediate delivery. But I understand the advantage of buying out of state and avoiding the 8.10% sales tax.

Still, if you need help setting your 705 up, or have any questions I am here to answer any question you might have,. call me or drop by the shop.

Well in my defense I asked this forum where to buy it, I did not hear from you then and that has been almost two weeks ago. I looked online for local purchase to but only found it at bass pro shops.
I guess I should have used the phone book because tax does not bother me just the best deal does.

I apologize. I have been on vacation since July 9th. I have not been watching the forums as closely as I normally do. Did I not come up on a search on the Minelab site? I'll have to check on that.

Sorry I wasn't there when you needed me. But my wife needed a vacation, because she has been married to me for 41 years. :)

I understand that Doc. It was moved off of this site by the forum operator I guess.
I love supporting Las Vegases local economy because it is so bad and I am sorry we didn't find each other.
I will be in the market in the future not today for the 6" DD hf coil and in the nearer future the Garrett pro pointer and would love to give you the business unless your prices are high, I'm not worried to the tax. One last thing I just visited your website and I find it hard to navigate, I could not find what I'm looking for and did not see a search engine. I will come by and visit you in person though within the next couple of weeks to introduce myself and look at your merchandise so that the next time I can spend my money locally. Thank you for the offer of helping me with my new detector but I am not the kind of person to buy from one place and seek help from another, that does not seem fare to you and I would feel guilty. I guess that is the Libra in me lol we like everything fare and balanced or we do not feel good inside about ourselves.
Look forward to meeting you.

To clear the air a bit............ Doc went on vacation July 9th, the same day you joined the forum. A few days after you made the post concerning where it was you decided to buy your X-TERRA and why, I was notified that the post had been moved to the feedback forum. It is still there if Doc or anyone else wants to read it.

If anyone has problems finding a prior post.......you can do a search of this website by topic, username or specific forum. For example, if I had made a post and thought it might have been moved, I could do a search of my username and see all the posts I've made. Or, if I wanted to know how many posts that someone had made to a specific forum, I could simply put in the username, highlight that forum and set the date for the range I wanted. It would come up with the list of all the posts that person had made to that specific forum.

I will not get discouraged :) I have been there and done that before but not with a detector like this one. All my past detectors have been turn on and go without the manual settings. I am sure I am going to spend hours learning this detector but because I will basically just be hunting newer tot lots and parks here in Las Vegas I will always find enough clad coins to keep the excitement in my heart to learn how to acquire the most out of my new toy :clapping: at least Las Vegas has hundreds of parks and tot lots to explore, who knows with all the high rollers living here and visiting here I might be lucky enough to find some really nice jewelry a couple times per year.
Best of all this time I have years of everyone else's experience from this forum and diggers excellent ebook at the top of the forum and I have never had that in the past.
My new detector is supposed to arrive Wednesday but it will be to hot for me to use then so I will be digging the park across the street around 5:30 am Thursday morning and will post a pic of my finds and my first impressions of the X-Terra gold package after the hunt.
