Placer Creek GPAA claims in New Mexico

Has anyone been to these claims recently? Can I get there with a standard car or does it take 4WD? They are located west of Tres Piedras.

I haven't been there in several years. Unless things have changed, you can get to the lake and campground in a car easily. They are just off the pavement. You can then walk to the claims.

Thanks Snakejim, I had hoped to be able to drive to them. Darn knee isn't very good at walking anymore. I'll give it a try. Thanks again.
