planning a trip to west palm beach! :) Any suggestions?

I'm planning a trip to go to west palm beach to metal detect soon and wanted to know if anyone can tell me some hot spots out there, I hear the breakers is very popular with the rich and famous. I plan on staying 2-3 days down there doing nothing but metal detecting and want to plan it around the full moon so I can hit the low tides. :)Shoot I won't sleep, lmao, barley eat, but be hoping for a nice chunk of gold! :)will be like the energizer bunny non-stop....see how bad I'm hooked? lol!

Dear Krissy,

You may have some trouble around the Breakers. Even with public access close by and the area below the high tide line is open to the public, security at the Breakers can get tight. Some people have had trouble in the past.

Stacey(West Palm) and the Bulgarian would be able to guide you right.

The three of us are members of the local metal detecting club here-The Gold Coast Treasure Club.

I had been thinking of joining the gold and treasure clubs. Maybe I can get to one of your meetings one day too..I do live in orlando, so it's a 2 1/2 hour drive there, I would like to learn the beaches and stuff down there, so in the future I can come back. :)

not sure yet when I will be able to make it down there for a few day stay since my husband is so very busy at work and and our vacations is booked, but I'm going to try my butt off to get down there soon. Even if we have to drive down there on the weekend for a few hours and drive back that night to orlando.

We do like going to vero beach and did waste so much time down there as well. looking for the 1715 spanish coins during the off season, rotflmao. So you are not much further than that! Cool! :)
