Planning the Big Trip to The Outback

Hello Everyone! I am working on a trip to the outback in October of this year. Never been there but going with a friend who has been once. He was there in the July / August months several years ago. Do you think it is too hot in Oct for a month long hunt around the Kalgoorlie areas? Any thoughts on renting or buying a used vehicle on arrival and then selling on leaving? Any words on the subject would be helpful! Thanks!

If your going to the outback your are better taking 2 4x4s or what ever type of cars you choose, and at the last town you go to before heading bush
call in the the local police station or Pub or general store and tell them exactly where you are going and stick to that route,
If you break down stay with your Vehicle and DO NOT STRAY FROM YOUR VEHICLE, your vehicle is easier to see from the Air than you are,
and it will make a better trail than your foot prints, so it can be found easier too, take enough supplies and water to last your trip,
the tempretures can reach in excess of 68*c / or 154.4*f out in the sun so keep all your skin covered up and wear a hat like the Japanese wore
during WWII to keep the sun off your neck, because you will get sun stroke very quickly out there, dont forget a good first Aid kit,
I hope this helps and if you have anymore questions just give us a Call
