So where does platinum Id at? I know gold can come in from foil to high tabs but what about platinum?
 
Analog meter (1-100) I had I found a small thin Platinum ring that hit 18 on the meter, so be forwarned if you are using much Disc Pt is gone.....Geo
 
Its' a lot like gold. Small thin Platinum rings read low and large heavy ones read up in the Square Pulltab to Zinc Penny range. If it ain't iron dig it!!!! JMHO

I used a White's MXT to record the target ID numbers of 51 platinum rings that I have found here in Hawaii. A nickel reads 18 to 20 on my MXT. The platinum rings target ID ranged from zero to 42. Only 8 platinum rings read above 20. Most of the platinum rings read around 8 to 12.
