while detecting in a pasture that was part of a colonial homestead in southern new jersey i found these coins among other things. two large cents (1819
& 1826)and a 1868 shield nickel. i also found 4 IH pennies two horseshoes and four homemade nails. i am getting to feel comfortable with this coil.

I've yet to find a large cent but maybe this yeAR <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
