General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Please be aware that if you buy a new SEF coil it no longer includes a coil cover...

I bought new 6 x 8 and 10 x 12 coils recently on ebay through Aardvark(Kellyco)...they both arrived without covers to my dismay unlike any I have purchased new before...apparently the manufacturer is no longer shipping them with covers and the covers have to be purchased separately which is not currently stated in the ebay listing or on their websites as of yet...as a long time customer, the situation was rectified ultimately :thumbup:

I have found both of these coils to be at the top of the best coils for FBS machines!
 
I bought a 6x8 from the same source recently and like you I received it without a loop cover. These are not a cheap coil and I feel they could afford a coil cover with the purchase. I will look else where in the future. No complaints about the coil it's self. Rick IL
 
I bought one in March and it does not have a coil cover and frankly it is well enough made it does not need a cover.
 
It seems silly to have to purchase the cover separately, but still, I absolutely love my 10x12.
 
Like the cover that comes with the E-Trac stock coil that protects while hunting.

I bought the Etrac new and what appears as the cover is not removable(I tried with no movement)
So when a member says keep your cover clean, I wipe it after hunts but it is not removable
I dont get how you can receive a coil and not have it covered..what is the surface that is exposed?

But thanks for the heads up
It is these type of warnings that keep us informed consumers
 
The E-Trac stock 11" does come with a coil cover. It is not easy to remove but can be done. I have cleaned mine out on several occasions, and found dirt, grass clippings, pine needles under it. I have never experienced any problems because of the foreign material, but I don't let it get that dirty. Rick IL.
