Please Help Me In Garrett Gti 2500

Hi, Please Help Me As Soon As Possible , I want to buy garrett gti 2500 but some resealers say garrett Maximum Depth Is Not Good, I want to know how much is the actual maximum depth search with eagleeye loop in garrett gti 2500 for gold and all metal?

Anyone who told you the 2500 has poor depth has never used one or doesn't know how to use one or is just full of it. With the Treasurehound you can locate objects ( quart-sized or larger ) at 2-4 feet. Depth is not universal and varies from area to area depending on ground conditions and size and type of coil used. There is no generalized depth for any detector anywhere on this planet.. This applies to all detectors regardless of who makes them. You can use the Treasurehound on the GTI 2500 or the Master Hunter CX. If you're looking for something buried deep ( 2-4 feet ) then either of these combinations should serve your purpose. There is nothing on the market that will find gold at 3m. the best Garrett machine for that is the Infinium. The only other detector that will go deeper is a Minelab SD or GPX with a 24inch coil. That will only give you between a metre and a metre and a half on a large lump of gold. You will have no discrimination. The Infinium may be able to hit that same very large nugget at a metre and you have some basic discrimination. (Large nuggets are very rare.)

But what Is different between garrett infinum and gti 2500 ? and how is price of infinum against gti 2500 ? i think minelab sd or gpx is expensive for me how much is price SD or GPX ? , i want to find only gold metal and other metal is not importent for me , what is your idea on DFS is it useful for my goal ? i dont undrestand about infinum how is maximum deep with infinum for Large nuggets ?what is your recommandation between infinum and gti 2500 ?

The infinium is Pulse Induction while the 2500 is VLF( Very Low Frequency ). The Infinium goes much deeper than the 2500 but not deep enough for what you told me. You'll have to have at least a two-box detector to get down that far. I'm going to check with Garret and see if they have any suggestions. The depth you quoted to me is going to be tricky to achieve with any kind of hobby detector.

How big of gold? It needs to be quite large for the eagle eye to "see" it.

The GTI without eagle eye Is fairly deep, nothing impressive though.

SONY IMAGER, EXEMINER aren't any normal kind of metal detectors, I'd guess they are GPR (ground penetrating radar) or something along those lines.
But the prices, if the claims are true, will be horribly high.
