Please Help on Coil Selection

Hello ....

I am leaning towards getting the Whites M6 and
want to get an additional coil besides the stock coil.

I'm just hunting for coils and jewelry.

Any recommendations?

6 x 8 SEF

6 x 10 DD

I may use it to also hunt beaches but not very much.

6x8 is a sensitive coil..

The M6 comes standard with the Eclipse 950 so I think the 6x8 SEF is too close to the same size. Quite often when I'm hunting coins and jewelry, I'm hunting in areas with lots of trash so I'd be looking for a smaller coil. The Eclipse 5.3 is a great coil on the M6.

and would be a good choice with the separation in trashy areas (and is a good compliment to have along with a concentric) -but I'd get a Nel.

I use a SEF 8x6 coil on my DFX which uses the same basic coil range as the M6,have tried the 5.3 on the DFX but i always revert back to the SEF coil as i personally find it suits me better for my sites,but my favourite coil is the hard too find 12'' Hotshot coil,i like them that much and as a result of them getting rare i bought a new one which is still boxed if my other one ever wears out.
