Gloria was the club's Treasurer for almost as long as the club has been in existance and we became friends and also friends of Liz! Gloria passed away from cancer Oct 16th in her sleep while in Barnes Hospitial! She had a good day before night came (the same as Cliff had before he passed away the next day while in the Hospital's Hospice Care). Her son and daughter are taking it hard (to lose a mother is difficult---their dad passed away several years ago). She has been ill for a long time and had chemo and radiation treatments but finally left this world and, hopefully, we will see her in the next! She was in her early 60's! I'm not sure where she was with Jesus as her Savior, (being Catholic) but I believe her children need saved! Please pray for theirs' and Liz's salvation and for comfort and peace while grieving for the loss of mother and friend! Thank you for all prayers and I know God hears and answers them when we pray in Jesus' holy name! Amen! Ma Betty

I always found it strange that it is during times like these tht people draw cloo each other and then to God as well. I pray they all come to God if they are not near Him now. I pray that she is finally out of her pain in this world and is in Heaven smiling now. God Bless All of you and yours. PEACE:RONB

I have lost my mom and dad as well. We always say I know how you feel. But I can't think we always do, or understand. We all have a deep feeling of how it affects us to loose a loved one. Then we have to rely on faith. Faith that we will see them again. Faith is a powerful thing, and a gift we don't always take advantage of. I believe faith is knowing and expecting good, and the comfort that our Lord knows exactly what he is doing, and what is best. I believe faith took care of Mike's melanoma. Don't take it lightly. Faith is a powerful gift.

Thanks for all your prayers and, yes, many of the disputes that cause family breakups is restored in times of sicknesses and death of a parent or sister and brother! But by faith, we can have peace that passes all understanding by trusting in God in Jesus' name for the hope that all will be well in the hereafter! Praying for the dead is too late, but praying for their families will always do good that they might be saved and with Him, forever! Prayers are never wasted....so let us keep praying for one another! Amen! Ma Betty
