Good morning brothers and sisters in Christ. Hope this day brings you many blessings. I write this in hopes that anyone here that has recently been offended can forgive and continue being a part of this great forum. satan will always rear his ugly head now and then and attempt to break up this family.
remember what the top of this forum says, (This forum is for posting your comments about metal detecting and to provide a place where you will be able to greet your friends and express your religious beliefs without fear of being singled out as a problem to your peers.)
We all belong to family of God. The one thing we have in common for sure is salvation in Him. Sure we will have differences in opinions on scripture and other hot topics. We all need to be sure to give God all the glory in each of our posts. When we read a post that we disagree with our want to put in our 2 cents worth, we should always wait, pray about it and choose our words wisely. This way we never offend, or make others feel beaten up. Don't let satan have the pleasure of ruining a good thing that you have here. Every time someone here gets upset or stops posting satan has a victory. Give God the victory and give God the glory. I have seen some good folks here leave just because of some words. I even remember a guy that came in and started posting and as far as he was concerned he was the only guy in the world going to heaven. That was satan at work for sure.
So stick around, love one another, pray for each other and have a good time.
I love this forum and my CMD family.

It is so easy to be deceived by satan; we must keep up our guard at all times. Sometimes the seemingly most innocent things end up causing pain and strife when the original intent was in love and friendship, satan is the originator of deceit.

BTW, I'm here daily enjoying the forum. I'm just the quiet type.

Amen to the posts! Tom in Ca just wanted to discuss the question he had asked whether all should speak in tongues! He got his answer and has posted the same....a good post I believe....He wasn't here to cause problems but to discuss the issues that he and his church group were discussing!

But the old devil, satan, stepped in and stirred up the POT with his entering and causing problems! I love each of you, as my brothers and sisters-in-Christ and we each have our own opinions of what the Scriptures mean in some gray areas, but one thing we should know for sure that Jesus was virgin born, He died in our place and arose to His Father on high and then sent us a Comforter....The Holy Spirit of God! Salvation is by faith in the shed blood of Jesus and whoever accepts that truth are saved in Christ Jesus and God's salvation gace! This is the main thing we should believe and all the other is learned or known as we ask, seek and search the Bible Scriptures with the Holy Spirit giving us godly wisdom!

Human children grow and learn in their own timing and so does God's Children, so let us not fight among our sisters and brothers but be willingly to learn from each other by studying the Scriptures for ourselves and asking of God what we don't understand! We each see as through a glass, darkly, but when we are caught up to Jesus, we will know as He knows and be happy by living in His presence, eternally!

Neither do I capitalize satan's name but ya know that is politically incorrect! All Engish and grammar teachers would admonish us for not doing that...but the old Liar and Trouble Maker doesn't deserve it! why mature Christians can't discuss any and all topics and agree to disagree in the end without feelings being hurt. I guess it depends on how mature you are in Christ. I think it is very interesting to discuss religious topics and hear everyone's ideas.

You got the maturity thing right!
We ( all of us) should be quick to listen and patient to answer.
We also need to be able to recognize when things are getting out of hand.
You might remember a couple months back we had someone who believed they were right and all others were wrong.
