Subject: Please Read

Will NBC be surprised??!!

Here's your chance to let the media know where the
people stand on our faith in God, as a nation.

NBC is presently taking a poll on "In God We Trust"
to stay on our American currency.

Please send this to every Christian you know so they
can vote on this important subject.

Please do it right away, before NBC takes this off
their web page. Poll is still open so you can vote. It only take a few seconds:

This is not sent for discussion.
If you agree forward it, if you don't, delete it.

The date and "in God we trust" is stamped onto the rim of the coin. It is so small that I can't read the date, much less the motto, unless I use my 10x jewelers loupe. This is just the beginning of the end of the motto itself. Just like all of our other freedoms, they'll take a little at a time until one day you'll get out of bed asking "what in the He!! has happened"!

If my memory serves me right - "In God We Trust" was first introduced in 1864 on the 2 Cent Piece. So its not like it was on the coins all along. Again I would like it to stay though. I guess its like Lady Liberty, she has been on our coins since the very first US authorised minting and she has been on our coins all they way up to 1945 (I think that's the last year she was on it) when Lady Liberty or the Mercury dime & Walking Liberty halfs ended and we got our current design with Rosie on it and the start of the Franklin halfs. I have said it before and I will say it again - Our coins used to have Ideals on them (Lady Liberty) now they just have Idols on them...
