Please wish Rick (N.D.) a fast recovery.

Yes I did go in with chest pains I been having for quite some time and didn't do much about, but got worst as time went on and didn't detect much this past summer.
Went in for stress test a week ago and we sent to a Cardiologist on Wednesday and was put in on Thursday where they cut my Arteries in the groin area and put in the tube with dye for my heart. Found 3 blockages and put in 3 Stents right away. Said I was so close to a heart attack it was a miracle I didn't have one.
Now to get the rest so I will be ready to detect in the spring and see what we can do. Tell you one thing even though I was awake for this I must have missed the mule that kicked me in the groin area as it sure looks and feel like one did.
I should be able to get to DM (Denny and his wife) with the New SE he got for her in the spring, maybe we can give James a run for his money ( I think it will take more than 3 of us to get what James gets, right Denny??)
Again thanks everyone for your well wishes.

Rick,

I am glad to hear things are good with you and hope you are recovering well. Hope to see you at the Christmas party next Sunday and may you continue to work your way back to health. All our best and you are in our prayers! Mike

Hey Rick,
I've enjoyed reading your posts alot, I'm a Sovereign newbie and some of your advice helped me along. Don't worry about hurrying up and getting out there swinging again, this is your time to let yourself heal and take it easy , you can work up to a level as good or better than before but you win this race by running slowly.
Theres a whole world of information available on the Web(diet, exercise, vitamins etc.) plus all the research on new sites you can detect at. So I wish you good health and Seasons Greetings, and I'll be reading your posts soon.

I have a friend who waited until he HAD a heart attack to get the stints...actually he had two...Glad to hear everything is going well....Best Advice.....LISTEN to your doctor's advice...One good thing though is you'll have plenty of time to plan a good hunt come spring & plenty of time to do a little research...rest up my friend.

I too wish Rick a speedy recovery and hope he is able to attend the Club Christmas Party we hold at his Bar next Sunday. I am sure he will be there and look forward to seeing him. Rick is one of the kindest guys out there that goes to great lengths to help people with Detector Problems or if possible, will take you out to a site and go thru the settings with you and get you started on making great finds later down the road. Get Well Soon Rick and hope to see you at the Party.

Glad to hear you came through the surgery well and are at home. I'll pray for you. Thanks for all you do here. Get well soon.

Hi Rick,
I had a triple bypass 16 years ago and have never had an ounce of trouble since, I wish all plumbers were this good.
When your back on your feet, plenty of exercise and metal detecting is great.
All the best for a speedy recovery......Boony
