Dug a ton of tabs out in the park field today.

Got 28 coins, a silver 1962 Roosevelt, a 1948 wheaty, a 1929 buffalo nickel & 1/4 of a silver quarter. I put my acid drop on the quarter and it proves it's silver. What a great day - I had to wear my sweat band. I'm sure all you guys up north want to hear that :) Good luck if you are going out tomorrow, Steve in so az

That is alot of digging. Sweat band huh it is in the 30s here right now. Ging to get in the 20s tonight.

were rusty bottle caps and the older pull tabs.....parks full of them from years of drinking from soda and bear bottles...they sounded exactly like a coin with the older detectors, especially when flattened! I dug trash for awhile but the tireder I became the less I dug...guess I left a lot of goodies in the ground for others to find! Keep on, keepin' on a diggin' and a sweatin'! ;) :) Ma Betty

Wow Steve,

that is a lot of pull-tabbing! lol You never know the next million and one might be another sweet gold ring to add to your collection! I have a snow storm headed my way for tomorrow (1-21-11) So reading that you are sweating in Arizona digging pulltabs and many nice coins sounds really good to me right now. Nice job on the
Roosevelt, wheaty & buffalo nickel. - Jim

single digits up here last night! Congrats on the oldies buddy!

That's a lot of pull tabs! Great keepers!

Love to find those Indian Head Nickles! The good thing about taking the trash with you is you won't need to dig as much the next time you visit the same park (hopefully).
