polar plot and sizing

Both only work down about 5" and only where the target is alone. Is this a fair statement.this is the best I candor in my soil. Any one else do better

Depending on soil that is the best you are going to see. I just bought an etrac to see if it will do better than my v3i in my soil conditions and I will be writing about it in the weeks to come.

I actually called Whites and told them of my plan and they said have at it, it will be a while before another flagship model comes out.

I hardly ever use polar plot and it does not provide me with any more data than search and pinpoint provide.
 
i have both etrac and v3i, Etrac works very stable in every condition ,
but v3i has better depth specially with 12.5 super coil
i use v3i in ground with good conditions
 
It all depends on your soil. Results will vary.
 
Yep, it is around the 7 inch level before my Polar Plot goes screwy.
