Pole mounting a Goldquest.....

Hopefully I'm going to have a Goldquest SS V.2 to add to my arsenal very soon. Have any of you pole mounted this machine? Tips and photos would be appreciated.

I still have my GQA2 hodge podge mounted. I ordered the white's upper stem that has push pins and ordered the mounting brackets. It is ziptied to the mounting brackets. It holds, but looks tacky. If I could get someone to build me a clean mounting bracket out of aluminum or stainless, I would jump on it!

I have attached my V2 a couple of different ways, after a few try's I came up with this mod. I went to one of the big box hardware stores and bought some aluminum plates, nuts and bolts, the bottom skid is from an old tupperware oval bowl, with a cloth between the control box and the plastic lid, all held in place with velcro.

The picture shows a minelab 11" DD coil, with the adapter attached to the pole with velcro. It might look odd, but it will run quite and deep in the AZ gold fields, plus I only have about $10.00 in the mod.
