But I like most types of music. Country, old rock, 50's, etc... ( NO RAP ) That aint music!

and if it's C&W it ain't music. Sounds like someone is strangling some poor pet cat. Yeah, I know, I'm one of seven people in the entire USA that doesn't like C&W. Mercy Me, 4 Him, Celtic Women and others. Don't know any secular groups other than Celtic Women.

rap is for those who can't sing. It is music with someone talking words in the background!:puke::lmfao: Kinda hard on the ears!

Not just hard on the ears......IT IS PURE NOISE...and is not music at all....most of it I can't understand whether good words or bad.....wouldn't listen to RAP even if you hogtied me as I would try my best to tune them out! Like C&W, Bluegrass, Southern Gospel and the old time hymns sung while I was growing up and many more singers!! Those who don't aren't from the South or Hillbilly Country! ;) :smile! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

If you play C/W music backwards You sober up ,get out of prison, get the girl back, get a job , and unwreck your truck, and don't get ran over by a train.

You mentioned Rap and I believe that our education system has once again failed us.....it is not a silent "C" in front of RAP but instead a hard "K" sound

That is a WOW song that stirs the spirit. He (and all those who are part of the group that backs him up) rocks.....I hear it and cannot feel God's angels dancing and rejoicing to that song and God giving a BIG smile.

If you haven't heard it - check it out.

There are other groups I like...I might not like everything they sing but there are songs each one sings that are special.

One beautiful song is sung by Kelly Willams called "The Love of Jesus" . Wonderful song.

BarlowGirl - Carol of the Bells/Sing We Now of Christmas

Celtic Woman - O Holy Night

JGNFriends - Days Gone By

JoeG - Someone Prayed For Me
