Man I loved the Pontiac of the 60's and 70's. A true muscle car, GTO, Grand Prix , Some of my favorite cars I owned were Pontiac's. But then came front wheel drive down sizing they won't the same. I hated to see this line die.

I'm a fan of those old cars, though where I live in BC, new laws can make a big dent in the pocket book if caught speeding, they take away your car for a few weeks and a triple whammy fine, I can't blame the cops, though people who were reckless before are the same, just punishes the good drivers along with the drunks.

Every so often I see them at the car shows and wish I still had it. Had and expanding family and had 3 kids at the time so traded it for a nice Olds, Vista Cruiser with the glass roof....

we also have a 55 TBird and Jenson police 454 police intercepter in the family, I'm partial to vettes as you are :).. once a kid always a kid

was the black also with the wood grain dash. I should have pictures of it here some where I can scan in. Mine was automatic. My buddies was red with white accent trim with the stick. We had more fun with those cars. Here is one just like....minus the 400 HO

I worked there. I helped assemble a lot of them.

My brother Gary had a 66 Goat with tri-power and four on the floor. It was a convertible. That was the fastest car I have ever driven and I owned a 58 Vette. That Goat would fly!!

I had a Lemans when in high school, 1966 closes I could get to Goat. Then bought a 1969 Vette when I got out of high school, it was one of those cars I dumped money into with someone always doing something to my dream car. I have never got a hot rod again after the money I spent on it. I sold it, then bought a Harley Low Rider my next dream machine, then a lady run a stop sign one day there went my bike. Seems every time I get a toy someone else will destroy it for me.
