Admitted, with a bit of good news
Posted 3 hours ago

Jenny just called and said Poppy has been admitted to Park West and is in Room 523. He can have two visitors at a time.

The bit of good news is that Poppy has a form of leukemia that may not keep him in the hospital as long as first expected. He has acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). You can find out more with a Google, or go here:

As I understand it, chemo treatments will begin tomorrow at 9am. He will receive two treatments per day (9am and 9pm) over the next 3 days (Tue-Thur) and then get a bit of a break before they start a drip on Friday. Throughout the treatments, they will be doing spinal taps periodically (8 total) as a necessary precaution.

Thanks for the update and still praying that Poppy gets better and better and the treatments will do their job and he won't be in the hospital very long and able to go home soon! Keep the faith, for without Jesus we have no hope! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
