I just got back from shopping for new pajamas, houseshoes, shaver and soap. Poppy should be set up for quite a while. Everything was on sale which was good and also had coupons for more discounts.
He is getting his big 24 hour dose of medicine, the same one that I took for chemo. Then he will get about four shots and I am not sure what they do He had gained 20 pounds from fluids so he has felt swollen and puffy. They are giving him Meds to get rid of the excess. He seems to feel pretty good though.
They said the food here was better than most places but so far we haven't found that to be true. I guess hospital food is hospital food. The cafeteria food is just okay. I think Children's Hospital has them all beat.
Blood levels were good so that he didn't need any blood but it is close. One point lower and they will have to infuse him.
