Possible CT., Gathering of friends from Findmall...????

I'm just going to toss this out there and see what kind of respons I get.

How would any of you all like to try to get a get together hunt going?

After I see some replys, we can all work on the date and details.

This could be planned for a day event or weekend gathering...

Hunt could take place is some well used old places like Park or Old Farm Fields.

Happy to share and hear all ideas of those of you interested, or just want to share ideas with us.

Well, lets work on the idea as a group........ I'm in New Britain, CT. And a very old and huge park is Walnut Hill. That could be an area of intrest. I also have permission to hunt some very old farm fields that are on the CT River/East Hartford area. I"ve had some good luck in these old farm fields which will be turned soon..... Some of these fields have been in use since the 1600's, and not only coins and relics to be found, but a nice indian arrow head or two always seem to pop up now and then.

I guess it's not a full blown competion type hunt I'm thinking of, more of a gathering of web site friends and fellow hobbiest..

I may have to pull George in CT's teeth to show up himself....LOL

Or if you want to get together some time as well.I live in Bozrah (Norwich area) but travel to Avon to work every day.I do travel around the state to detect so if you want some company maybe we could get together and see what turns up.
