Wife found this gem the other day.as ive been researching and cleaning up real slow and easy im noticing tool marks 180 degrees apart and doing some research theres a gripped edge 1797.Theres some written info but i cant find hardly any picture references.

Even if modern clad coins are recovered there are some mint goof ups. The other day jkline hit a pocket spill of three Presidential Series dollar coins. Wasnt until I was looking them up in the RedBook did I realize there were some minted without the edge inscriptions (thus worth a tad more but later on that will increase). Good catch on finding that tiny abnormality or mint difference!
