Greg, Mike from Chicago, Seeker 41 and I hit the old site from the 06 forum hunt today for about 6 hours. My first target was a 1936 buffalo nickel! :)
I figured that it just might be a good day! The weather was awesome and the ground was pretty good diggin too. I also got 11 wheats, which is the same amount I found when we were there in 06! The dates are 58D, 51D, 48D, 44, 42, 40, 36, 19D, 16D, 11, and one I can't get the date from yet. At one time Greg hollered over and gave me the merc sign, I gave him the thumbs up, and then about 5 minutes later I hollered back and gave him the merc sign! Seeker also got a merc today. I also got a mood ring and two pendants. It was another great foum hunt with 10 people in attendance! I hope we get more next year, and some who have never been there get to come too! :)

Sorry we could not make today, looks like we missed some good finds. We have put it on our list of places to go. Thanks again for Saturday, we are really blessed to find such a nice group of people to spend time with.
 
Sounds like a great time was had by all. Would love to have been there.
 
Congrats Mike and all who hunted today and WTG on all those nice finds! I sure like the School Bus pendant! Is the other one silver and supposed to represent the sun? Sounds like everyone attending the forum hunt had a lot of fun and fellowship! Wish I could go sometime, but will just have to wait and see what will be next year! Nice going all of you! :clapping: :biggrin:
