Any tips? I have taken a few pics and when I tried to upload they say to big. Is there a place on this forum that gives info? I did not see anything..

It says this under control settings Manage pictures

Please do not upload photos larger than 460 KB and 600 x 800 pixels.

Only the following file types are allowed for photos: gif, jpg, png.

You can store at most 1 photos.

Here is a simple way to do it on a PC

The photos you have taken are fine and just need resized.
Go into "Paint" then click on "open" from the left top menu tab.
Select the photo you want.
Then click on the "Resize" tab within the Paint menu at the top.
You will be given two choices on how too resize the photo Dimensions and Pixels.
Choose Pixels and in the first line delete what is there and put in 600
Don't worry about next line below it will auto adjust based on the first input.
Then save your photo with a new name. I always use the date re: 318141 then like the next photo I will do will be like 318142
Once you have typed your message etc then click on "upload photo" and pick the photo you want uploaded.
This should make it small enough to upload.
This same method can also work for your signature/info photo but, for an avatar it must be like no bigger then 45kb or something like that.

Here you go, compliments of Goldstrike.......

There are still a few forum members that have problems posting photographs because they are too 'big' (in other words, too many KB's). I know there are a number of ways/programs to store photographs but hopefully the following simple steps which I personally use might help someone if they use the same program as myself..
I use 'Windows Photo Viewer'
Click on the photo you want to post
Click 'Open'
Click 'Paint'
Click 'Resize'
Enter '40%' (which will resize the photograph to below the 420KB that the forums require to post photographs).
Click 'OK'
Click 'Save' and you're done!
