I had to go to the doctor today to have a knot that I have had for years checked out . It was in my leg on the back and the last few days it has been hurting me. My doctor said he was going to cut some out and have it sent off. When he cut me open he said he knew what it was Lypoma [do not know if I spelled that right] and he went ahead and removed it. I figured I would have to get a scan and go to someone else to get it removed . I only have five stitches and It was know big deal. It was a type of fatty tissue about the sie of a golf ball inside my leg . Praise GOD it is gone and I get my stitches out next thursday.

Travis,

I, too, have a lipoma in my leg. Can be a little sore and painful at times. My doctor said he would leave it alone unless it really got to bothering me. Glad everything turned out well for you! :)

Amen and Praise God for sure that it was only an Lipoma, and I don't know how to spell it either just trust Lisa! :) I had 4 of them on my back and were like small cushions under the skin that I could push about and they did bother me! My dr at that time, removed them when I had gall bladder surgery! Well, let me tell you, I would never have two surgeries done at the same time again! I couldn't lay on my stomach nor my back....he removed my appendix, too, and when the tube was pulled out.....WHEW and WOW is all I can say!! I haven't had any more trouble with the Lipomas since the surgery, soooo a good thing to not have the troublesome hurting any more! Soooo, Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for all your goodness and mercy to us! May God Bless! Amen! Betty
